Since we haven't had sufficient response to the Fenway Park Suite, we've decided not to pursue an organized event and leave it open to individual ticket sales. If anyone wants to step up and coordinate a gathering place for Classmates, please do!

Announcement from Watertown Public Schools

Watertown Public Schools is very excited to announce our 100th Thanksgiving Football Game against Belmont will be played at Fenway Park! The Fenway Sports Management announced today the return of High School Football at Fenway presented by Cross Insurance with the Watertown/Belmont game scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 4:00 PM.

From our Fenway partners:

“We are thrilled to host high school football once again at Fenway Park,” said Fenway Sports Management President Mark Lev. “Thanksgiving rivalry games are always a highlight of the high school football season, and adding the iconic backdrop of Fenway Park will only make the occasion more special for the players, coaches, and fans. We look forward to welcoming the

communities and football fans to the Park to celebrate this time-honored tradition.”

Fenway began hosting high school football shortly after its opening in 1912, when city rivals Boston Latin and English played their annual Thanksgiving Day game at the ballpark. Two days

later, Fenway hosted the 1912 high school football national championship game when Everett was defeated by Oak Park, IL. The last high school football game at Fenway was held in 1935,

followed by an 80-year absence until its return to the ballpark in 2015.

This year’s matchups include:
